Risk Audit and Profile Analysis

Knowing your risks is where it all starts. Weaknesses and threats to organizational objectives or operations need to be clearly identified and ways of addressing them must become part of the way an organization operates. The first critical step is to undertake an audit which identifies key risks, their probability or impact and rates the degree to which they are “under control”. In developing this risk profile for our client, we can facilitate the development of a risk management and business continuity strategy.

Case Study

Contacted by a technology company with concerns for the personal security of its top management, our audit soon broadened out and also identified a number of business related risks, even though we had no more than general knowledge of the company’s operations. For each risk we proposed a set of mitigating measures. These varied from general policy directives to simple practical measures to be implemented by staff. In the event of a risk materialising, we proposed immediate emergency measures in checklist format to ensure that when under pressure the crisis management team kept focused.
